Suastika is the best bungalow in Ubud! I have been coming to Bali for 12 years for business. I always stay in the Ubud area and can't believe I just now came upon this gem of an accommodation . Suastika is perfect in every way. They have beautiful rooms in a jungle setting in a traditional Balinese family compound. Those looking for a magical Bali experience should stay here.
I didn't like the fact I had to leave Suastika and leave Bali. I wish I could have moved in forever : )

The staff was just amazing. Some of the most helpful, kind and loving staff I have ever encountered. They simply cannot do enough for their clients. When I arrived they upgraded me to a room that was normally quite a bit more money for the same price I had booked for. The morning I left, they got up early so I could have a 6:00 am breakfast. These people are amazing. The garden is stunning. The breakfast is served at a table outside of your room when you are ready and it is delicious and different every day. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated.

Everything was amazing, as I arrived I was welcomed by Yani and Made, they are the most amazing couple who really cared about all my wishes. They live in this beautiful garden with the whole family, grandma is preparing offerings for the gods, grandpa is cleaning the family temple, little boy playing on some weird sound instrument. You have a chance to become part of a balinese family. They took me to hindu celebration where I could actually participate in the ceremony, while the other tourists were only watching, all because I was travelling alone.. The garden is beautiful, I was upgraded as the guests from my originally assigned room decided to stay longer. The rooms are nice, with kitchen and minibar and nice scent of flowers. I had wonderful time in Ubud thanks to them, I felt welcomed by everybody. I would deffinitely recommend it to solo travelers and couples as well, the place is a bit up on the hill, but this is for the advantage of it as you are away from the loud crowds.
